HENNET plays a critical role in shaping the Kenya’s health policy landscape. It serves as a bridge between government and grassroots voices to ensure inclusive and participatory health governance.
The role of social accountability can not be underplayed in the role it plays in providing solutions to different challenges as well as provide a platform for engagement with duty bearers for action and improved health outcomes.
Why it matters
Our policy labs trained 120 county officials in 2023. A Kisumu health director reported: ‘HENNET’s scorecards helped us redirect 30% of budgets to maternal health gaps.’
