COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS 2015
The UK Commonwealth Scholarship Commission is sponsoring 15 Scholarships for the UK Open University Master of Science in Development Management. This is a three year distance learning course, which commences in November 2015. The course is taught by the world-renowned Open University and is managed locally by Kulika Uganda, a registered not-for-profit organisation with over thirty years’ experience in managing scholarships.
Requirements: Applicants must:
- Be Ugandan or Kenyan nationals
- Be employed by a development agency – NGO, government or private sector – and have at least two years’ experience working in Kenya or Uganda on development issues
- Have a good undergraduate degree, preferably in a field related to development
- Be highly motivated, with a strong, demonstrable commitment to local and national development
Please be aware that if you don’t meet these criteria your application – which takes some effort to complete – will not be successful.
